Vision of the Team
The Worship Team exists for one clear purpose: creating an environment where people can experience God through worship. From the way we prepare during the week to the way we lead during service, every part matters. Our goal isn't to perform. It's to create an intentional environment where people can turn their attention toward Jesus, respond to what God is doing, and worship freely. Every rehearsal matters. Every sound check matters. Every song matters. Because every person in the room matters.
The Impact
Worship can become the moment where everything else gets quiet enough for someone to focus on Jesus. People walk into church carrying stress, disappointment, questions, distractions, or even uncertainty about their faith. But as truth is declared and hearts respond in worship, something begins to shift. We've seen worship become the moment where:
Worship prepares hearts for everything that follows. It brings our Familia together in one voice, reminds us who God is, and creates space for people to experience His presence.
Find Your Place
The Worship Team is made up of different roles working together toward one purpose. There are opportunities to serve as:
Each role plays an important part in creating a distraction-free, Spirit-led environment where people can worship freely. Our team serves on a monthly or bi-weekly rotation with Wednesday evening rehearsals. Because of the responsibility involved, experience is required for musical roles. If God has given you a gift for music, there may be a place for you here.
Your Next Step
Serving on the Worship Team is more than being on a platform. It's an opportunity to use your gifts, grow alongside Familia, and help create moments where people can encounter Jesus. You get to prepare with excellence, lead with humility, and be part of what God is doing in the room. If you have experience in worship ministry and feel called to use your gifts to serve, we'd love to get you connected. Maybe this is your next step.
